It is considered as the best portrait of the King and recently it is attributed to Ambrogio de Predis, a famous Lombardian master. The coat-of-arms held by two putti at the bottom is that of Matthias. The codex contains the text of a speech of Marlianus, senator of Milan, which he delivered on the occasion of the betrothal of J?nos Corvin and Bianca Maria Sforza in 1488.
